Interacts (Doors, Pickups, etc.)

Interactable items in a map such as doors, pickups, and switches are integral to creating an engaging gameplay experience. They add depth to the game by requiring players to interact with their environment, solve puzzles, and strategically plan their actions.

In idStudio, all interact entities come with an associated volume that triggers the object’s action when the player moves into that volume. All interact entities can be edited in Entity Inspector to change their initial state, add additional interaction complexity, link the interact to additional entities, and more.
