Groups Tool Reference
The Groups window can be opened from the World Editor via Tools menu → Groups.
The Groups tool provides a helpful tree view that displays all the groups currently available in your map/refmap. Switching maps will refresh the Groups tool and show you the list of groups available in that specific map. Within each group, you will see a list of entities that belong to it. Additionally, groups can be nested within other groups, allowing for a more organized and structured approach. It's important to note that group names must be unique, but sub-groups only need to be unique in relation to other sibling groups.
Entities can be assigned to as many or as few groups as desired. If an entity as been assigned to multiple groups, it will be listed accordingly in each group.
Group Properties
Groups can be marked as ghosted and/or marked as hidden. These states are independent of each other, and can be toggled in any combination.
Each group listed in the window has buttons for toggling these states. The toolbar and the context menu also provide methods for adjusting these properties.
Ghosted groups
Ghosting a group renders it unselectable, but still visible in the World Camera. Entities contained in ghosted groups will be drawn grayed-out.
Hidden groups
Entities contained in groups that are marked as hidden will not be shown, and cannot be selected.
If an entity belongs to multiple groups, only one of them needs to be marked as ghosted or hidden for the entity to be treated as such.

Groups can be managed via the Groups tool, or the World Editor's context menu.
